Logo for a renovation crew – 14 new orders in a month
We designed a logo that is associated with cleanliness and precision. The client invested only in a new logo and company t-shirts.
Dariusz has been running a renovation crew in Bydgoszcz since 2017. He had the skill, but his image put off wealthier clients. We changed that in two weeks.
The challenge
The company Precyzja Remonty took mainly small jobs for painting and touch-ups. Dariusz wanted to get into large bathroom renovations, where the margin is 42% higher. Unfortunately, the old logo looked like it came from a free generator. Customers haggled over every 100 zlotys because they didn't see professionals in the crew. The average inquiry value was only 1250 PLN. Dariusz lost about 5 hours a week explaining why he was more expensive than teams from ads on poles.
Our approach
We met at our headquarters at Zygmunta Augusta 7 on May 2024. We decided to move away from hammer and trowel symbols. We went for a clean geometric signet. Our team, Marek and Joanna, analyzed 12 competing companies from Kujawsko-Pomorskie. We decided on navy blue and bright orange. This combination screams: order and punctuality. We get straight to the point, so we skipped unnecessary sketches and showed two final directions.
The solution
We prepared a graphic mark that is easy to embroider on clothes. In addition to digital files, Dariusz received a contact for a local sewing shop from us. He ordered 12 polo shirts and 4 sweatshirts with the new logo. The logo also went onto the sides of a white Ford Transit van. The whole thing was closed in 9 business days. We used a simple font that is readable even from 15 meters when the car is in traffic on the Solidarity Bridge.
Results
The new image worked almost immediately after wrapping the car and dressing the crew in new clothes. Dariusz stopped being 'the painting guy' and became the boss of an execution company.
