Terms of Service of Vistula Brand Factory

What is this document?

Hi. You are reading the terms and conditions of Vistula Brand Factory. We don't like legal jargon as much as you do, so we wrote this straight talk. This document is a contract between us and you. It defines the rules on which we design logos, create visual identity, and arrange marketing strategies for your company. By using our site or ordering a project from us, you agree to these rules. We get straight to the point so that each party knows where it stands. If something is unclear to you, call us at our office in Bydgoszcz. We will explain everything without fluff. Zero fluff, just clear rules of cooperation.

Who is behind this?

The owner of the service and the contractor of orders is Vistula Brand Factory based at ul. Zygmunta Augusta 7 in Bydgoszcz. We have been operating on the market since September 2016. During that time, we have closed 684 projects for companies from all over the region. We are not a virtual agency without an address. How do you order services?

We always start with a concrete conversation about your needs. You can use our calculator on the site to find out an initial price, or send an inquiry via the form. After establishing the details, we send you an order confirmation. Work starts when we record the established payment. In the case of a logo package, you will see the first 3 proposals on your mail within 6 business days. This is our standard, which we keep. We don't promise we will do it in an hour because good craft takes time, but we won't stall without reason either. Does it work? It works. You provide us with necessary information about your industry, and we turn it into graphics that sell.

Terms and revisions

We respect your time. If we say the project will be on Thursday, it will be on Thursday. In each package (Start, Business, or Scale), you are guaranteed 2 series of revisions to the selected logo version. A revision for us is a change of color, moving an element, or changing the font. We want you to be satisfied with the effect, but we stick to established frameworks so the project doesn't drag on for months. Usually, these 2 series are entirely enough because we listen to what you say at the beginning. If after using up the revisions you want to change the concept by 180 degrees, we will establish an additional fee for working hours. Straight talk – we value our work and your money.

Question of money

Our prices are transparent. The Small Start package costs 950 zł, Sure Business is 2340 zł, and Full Scale is 4720 zł. These are gross amounts, unless we establish otherwise in the offer. We don't have hidden costs for file transfer or copyrights. You pay once and have peace of mind. For smaller orders, we ask for payment upfront. For larger strategic projects, we can divide the payment into two parts. If you don't provide us with materials needed for work for more than 30 days, we consider the project finished, and the money paid as remuneration for our time reserved for you. We get straight to the point because we have limited processing power and deadlines for other clients.

Your logo, your rights

This is the most important point. After paying the full amount for the order, you get economic copyrights to the selected logo design from us. You can do what you want with it: print on shirts, wrap vans, register at the patent office. You will get a set of files from us (PDF, EPS, JPG, PNG) that they will accept in every print shop in Bydgoszcz and in the whole world. We only retain the right to show the project in our portfolio on the vistulabrand.pl site and in social media. We boast about our successes, and by the way, we give you free advertising. If for some reason you want to remain anonymous, you must tell us before the project starts.

What we don't do (liability)

We design marks and arrange strategies, but we don't run your business for you. We don't take responsibility for whether your company achieves millions in profits after changing the logo. That depends on your services and customer service. We ensure that you look professional and inspire trust. We are not responsible for errors in printing if you did not order production supervision from us and the print shop ruined the colors. Always check the files before letting them go to the machine. We are also not responsible for whether your company name does not infringe on someone else's rights – checking the availability of the name in registers is your task as the business owner.

How to say goodbye?

We hope our cooperation will last for years, but either side can end it. If you want to resign during the work, we settle for the work actually done according to an hourly rate of 150 zł. If we have already prepared the first proposals, the deposit paid or the full amount is not refundable because we have done the lion's share of the work. We can resign from the order if you don't provide us with information, insult our team, or ask for things contrary to the law. Then we return the money reduced by the cost of time we have already spent on your topic. Zero fluff, honest settlement.

Law and disputes

We operate in Poland and are subject to Polish law. If a dispute arises between us that cannot be resolved over coffee in our office on Zygmunta Augusta, the case will be settled by the court competent for our headquarters in Bydgoszcz. We hope it never comes to that, because we play fair and expect the same from you. These terms of service may change, of which we will inform on this site.
